If you are experiencing this frustrating phenomena, where all of the links on your WordPress site go to your home page, then try this.
- Log in to your admin panel for your WordPress site.
- Mouse over the Settings tab in your navigation menu and click on Permalinks.
- Click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
That should do it! At least, it worked for me.
I ran into this problem myself. I searched and googled the problem and didn’t find very much helpful info. Somebody had mentioned making changes to the .htaccess file, but, fortunately for me, that wasn’t necessary.
I called my web hosting company, because I was trying to change the .htaccess file to no avail. The tech there suggested we do a site restore. Before doing that, though, he put me on hold for a couple minutes and came back with this solution.
